Well, I forgot to write this last night, since I was pretty tired. Ah well, I shall just get to it now!
Today I started my revision for criminal law. Of course, it was quite a slow start as usual, but it is not so bad. I have been doing criminal law for the past 3 years after all. A lot of it is just reminding myself of stuff I have revised so many times in the past.
Other than that, I watched two films with my parents this evening. I do not know the name of the first film, but it was about people sucking up water from Earth. That was a pretty interesting one. The second film was something to do with the Chronicles of Riddick apparently. That one was strange, but good. Unfortunately this did mean everyone went to bed at 1:00 AM, which is much later than normal for my family.
Anyway, I have been going through my old photos on Facebook recently. I mean, there are hundreds of pictures, but I was mainly looking for inspiration for something to write about. And when I look back at all the things I have done my life feels far more full than it normally does. Because I have done a lot of things.
I have been to the alleged birthplace of King Arthur, Tintagel, many times. It is really one of the coolest places to visit. A huge, solitary rock on the coast which has to be climbed via a series of stone steps carved into its sides. And when you reach the top you can walk to the edge and sit there, dangling your legs over the abyss below. Of course, I am not that brave or foolhardy, so I prefer to sit a little way away from the edge.
We always seem to go there when the weather is great. The sun shines and the grass on top of the rock blows in the breeze. Last time there was a patch of rain, but there are some caves within the rock where we could hide and wait it out.
Of course, since the main tourist attraction is that it is a possible starting point for the legend of King Arthur, they do sell all manner of swords and other medieval items. When I see swords being sold it beckons to some part of me that thinks that I need it, despite them being essentially expensive wall-hangings. Last time I instead bought a clock that still sits on my desk today.
Anyway, I am now going to get up, grab myself my water and start on today’s revision. I’ll be sure to get tonight’s blog post done on time. Have a great day, guys!
