Day 339: The 30th of June

Today was the last day of the holiday before we head back tomorrow.

I spent the day indoors, reading and generally enjoying the peace and quiet. We then all got together to finish off the leftovers which we had bought earlier in the week. There is still some food we didn’t manage to finish. I blame people not letting me stay here more, eh?

I’m going to have to do some sorting tonight, getting my suitcase ready to pack away tomorrow. I don’t think it will be too bad, mainly folding up some used clothes, but it has to be done. That way I can still be lazy tomorrow morning.

Anyway, I am currently half-watching a film, so I shall get back to that now. Goodnight everyone!

Day 337: The 28th of June

Today I relaxed for a while. It was a nice time.

There is something nice about just being able to sit in the quiet and do whatever you want. I am sleepy now though. Obviously I have been working hard.

I’ve been enjoying playing some Fire Emblem over the past few days. It has been an enjoyable story so far.

Anyway, I’m going to head off. Goodnight everyone!

Day 336: The 27th of June

Today was a nice day.

We headed out to Boscastle for the day, where I got a new belt and we had some lunch. I must admit my mood was not the greatest, given that I didn’t really want to wake up this morning, but I got a bit better later on.

I hope to have some time to myself soon. Would be nice.

Day 335: The 26th of June

Today we went out to a National Trust property.

It was a bit rainy all day, but that didn’t stop the house and gardens from being a very pleasant experience. Maybe it would have been nicer to spend more time in the gardens in nice weather, but whatever.

Tomorrow we will apparently be getting up at 8:00 AM. I did not come on holiday for this torture! Ah well, we should have some days to relax later in the week hopefully. I was kind of hoping we would be just relaxing for more of the holiday, but the rest of the family is much more into going out on day trips. Fuck that, I want to sleep, read and do nothing! Why can’t I do that!

Well, I can’t. And that means seeing other humans and such. No fun. Ah well.

Day 333: The 24th of June

First day of my holiday today! It’s a pretty peaceful place.

It was quite a long drive to get down here, but I managed to catch a little bit of my sleep anyway. All in all it has been an interesting day.

And that’s all I really have to say about that! Looking forward to reading and just getting away from it all, at least for a little while.

Day 330: The 21st of June

Today I spent most of my time modding Oblivion.

There is something really therapeutic about slowly but surely watching the quality of a game increase. Trawling through the nexus for mods takes some time, but the end result (if you are patient) is typically worth the time. I want to have my mods set up just in case I do some playing while I am away. You never know!

I’ve wanted to get back into Oblivion for a long time. It was my first Elder Scrolls game and in my opinion it has a lot of the best features of Skyrim and Morrowind. It is just all around a great game. I especially like the more western atmosphere of the game, it feels a lot more like traditional fantasy than the other games in the franchise.

Anyway, I am not going to talk too much about that! After all, busy days are ahead! Have a good week, everyone!
